For his fine effort , amazingly we have been informed that the Canadian goverment itself has awarded him. He is the proud recipient of a new battery operated turtle neck sweater his wood powered unit was worn out) Also he will recieve a 10% discount on new windows for his igloo and 2 month worth of food for his sled dogs this winter , and a bottle of Canadian Club ( to be shared with club members.. ahem…Ray?)

Iowa always delivers on the wind. Low Boom Larry and Jeff Hegwer were a great race committee. Barry and his crew are a great support staff – providing the Cyclone bus, RC boat, and jetski for setting marks. Couldn’t do the race without them. They certainly add to the fun factor when racing ends too.
